Shane Nelson

Shane Nelson oversees crude oil and gas marketing for Venator-managed assets across Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, and California. He also assists independent producers with specialized marketing solutions through VNRG Marketing LLC. With over 25 years of diverse industry experience, Shane brings a comprehensive perspective having worked across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. Shane holds degrees in Accounting and Social Studies from Utah State University. Outside the office, his greatest joy is spending time with his wife Katrena, their 7 children, and soon to be 7 grandchildren. An avid history buff, Shane also enjoys reading, serving at church, playing basketball, and climbing mountains.
